Elon Community Church’s farmers market has been growing as slowly and steadily as the vegetables it has been selling for the past five years. Kicking off this year on April 19, Earth Day, the small, empty patch of grass at the ECC quickly came to life with the hustle and bustle of Elon University students, faculty and staff and local community members sampling jams and cheeses, examining hand-made pottery and birdhouses and learning a little bit more about where their food comes from.

The clock strikes 10 and the FCC regulations dictate that radio content can legally get a little edgier. At Elon University, senior Alexa Johnson and a handful of her peers turn on the mics at WSOE 89.3 and turn off their inhibitions. “The Carnal Romp” is Elon's only sex talk show, and it’s been giving students the chance to talk openly about sex and sexual health for two years.

If you’re a North Carolina resident and you are unable to return home to vote in the upcoming primary election May 8, you may vote using an absentee ballot. A paper ballot will be mailed to you before the election so you can vote as if you were home in your own precinct.

When iMedia student Stephanie Olsen was an undergraduate in the dance program at Elon University, she would get tickets for plays weeks in advance and show up for performances nearly an hour early.
