She was attempting to find her niche on campus, and found things she seemed interested in but didn’t match her own outward style or internal struggles with race and ethnicity.

A new branch of Elon University’s Study USA program offers students the chance to join the minds of the creators of Apple, Facebook and Google while still having time to bike the Golden Gate Bridge this summer as they participate in Elon in San Francisco. Walking through the streets of New York City during spring break, seniors Alli Lindenberg and Nicole Molkentin were inspired by the hustle and bustle of the city. The innovative people they saw walking about helped them decide to pursue a project they’ve had since sophomore year: Rauthenticity, a podcast featuring creatives, or creative people.
