"Oklahoma!," presented by the Elon Performing Arts Department, opens at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and runs until Oct. 31 in McCrary Theatre. "Oklahoma!" is the story of a community living in the Oklahoma territory. It follows the love stories of lead characters Laurie and Curly. Laurie, played by senior Michaela Vine, is stuck in a love triangle between love of her life Curly, played by senior Drew Shafranek, and her farm hand Judd, played by junior Fergie Philippe-Auguste. The show also explores the life of Ado Annie, played by sophomore Mara Wilson, and her inability to choose between cowboy Will Parker, played by sophomore Drew Redington, and peddler man Ali Hakim, played by senior Maxel Garcia.
