On Tuesday, the Kardashian and Jenner sisters came together at the Apple Store in Soho to release their new apps. Each sister has her own app available in the Apple Store, and each app costs $2.99 a month.

So what do the apps do, exactly? They allow the sisters to interact with various fans and highlighs each sister's individual interests. Kylie's app will be about makeup and fashion. Kendall will be showing off her travels and fashion adventures. Kim's will feature fashion and selfies. Khloe's will focus on fitness and Kourtney's app, which is still in the works, will focus on being a mom.

The apps are a way to steer away from the hateful comments that the women receive on a daily basis through different social media platforms.

Erin Griffith, a writer for Fortune.com, had a chance to go to the conference and hear a little bit more about the apps.

"We wanted to change our digital platform and make it more than just a blog that we had before," Kim said. "I just felt like there was no other platform that could do it all unless we do it ourselves."

Alaxic Smith, CEO of Communly.com, discovered how many people already had subscribed to the app, according to TMZ.com. A total of 891,340 people reportedly signed up for the four sites within the first 24 hours.

If those numbers are true, that would mean that all of the apps combined would make a whopping $32 million per year. According to app analytics company App Annie, Kylie's new app is number one in the charts. She is beating out Facebook's messenger app, Instagram and even Snapchat.

As the girls' apps continue to rise in popularity, they'll continue to rake in the big bucks. No matter what the media says about these sisters, one thing is true — they have created a strong and powerful empire on social media and are continuing to expand it each day.
