In the most terrifying news of the day, it was just made public that back in May, a man was charged with burglary after sneaking into a New Jersey home and hiding under a bed for three days.

According to the Associated Press, John Hubbard entered the home when the owner was taking out the garbage. He then hid under a bed in a spare room for three days before the homeowner noticed anything.

Hubbard was not only charged with burglary, but also “theft of services.” This charge came after Hubbard admitted to using the space to charge his four cellphones over the 72 hours he spent under the bed. Coming from people who have shamelessly charged their phones in restaurants, classrooms and even bars, we can feel for the guy. Sometimes, though, you just gotta keep walking and find the nearest Starbucks.
