Wax museums just got a little more diverse — thanks to the addition of a Laverne Cox wax figure at the Madame Tussaud’s San Francisco Wax Museum. Laverne will be the first transgender wax figure in the museum’s history, marking a major accomplishment for both Laverne and the transgender rights movement as a whole.

“I am so deeply honored to have been asked to be part of the Madame Tussauds legacy,” Cox said in a statement. “I hope that this will be a source of inspiration for everyone who encounters it to believe that their dreams matter and are possible.”

Laverne’s wax doppelgänger will be revealed on June 26 right before Pride Weekend, which begins the next day.
