FOR DRY LIPS

What you’ll need:

  • One part white or brown sugar (grab packets from anywhere there’s coffee!)
  • One part petroleum jelly (aka Vaseline)
What to do:
  • Mix ingredients in the palm of your hand and use a finger to gently rub the mixture into your lips for about 30 seconds.
  • Rinse and repeat as necessary.
  • Finish with a later of petroleum jelly.
 

FOR DULL HAIR & ITCHY SCALP

What you’ll need:

  • Apple cider vinegar (ACV)
What to do:
  • Grab a plastic cup, fill it half way* with ACV and bring it into the shower, filling it up to the top was water.
  • Tilt your head back and pour mixture onto scalp. Repeat two to three times a week.
*If you’re dealing with severe flake-age, pour undiluted ACV onto your scalp and massage for 60 seconds.

 

FOR DRY SKIN

What you’ll need:

  • Spoonful of castor oil* (ask for this at Walmart or your local health food store)
  • Spoonful of coconut or olive oil
What do to:
  • With clean hands, splash warm water onto your face to open your pores.
  • Mix oils in the palm of your hand and gently massage into your face, paying special attention to extra dry areas.
  • Wipe away anything dripping, but allow the rest to seep in.
 

* CASTOR OIL is anti-bacterial and helps acne and inflamed skin. On its own it cane be a bit drying, so it’s great for acne spot treatment.
