The community of Elon is built around the campus. Students make up more than half of the 9,419, but what is the makeup of each individual within Elon? The Voices of Elon series follows the stories of students, faculty, and residents who live within the four square miles that are the Town of Elon.
Conor “Kayak” Janda, a sophomore at Elon University, can’t make it down a crowded cafeteria without spotting at least one adoring fan. Having a discussion with him can be a bit of a whirlwind as more than three thoughts can come out of one sentence. As a born-and-raised Christian in a Jewish based fraternity, he likes to think of himself as “eclectic.”
