Many first year students came to the annual Organization Fair on Friday, Sept. 6, eager to become involved on campus. The fair allows students to see and learn about all the different organizations held on campus. Each organization has a booth and current members to answer questions students may have about their organization.

There are more than 220 student organizations on Elon's campus. With such a large amount of organizations, students are able to become apart of a club that interests them.

Although the Organization Fair is held to encourage first year students to get involved, it also helps organizations find new members and inform them about their organization.

J.T Doscher, a referee for intramural sports says there are many aspects of campus recreation students don't know about. The organization fair enhances student's knowledge about the groups on campus.

"You know a lot of people know about campus recreation, but they don't know everything that's involved in it, from outdoors to group exercise, intramurals and fitness facilities. So I thinks it's good to get the name out there," Doscher said.
